Description: 
- is a media franchise owned by The Walt Disney Company. Created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney in the early 2000s, the franchise features a line-up of fictional female protagonists who have appeared in various Disney franchises.
The franchise does not include all princess characters from the whole of Disney-owned media, but rather refers to specific characters from the company's animated films. As of 2017, the eleven characters considered part of the franchise are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida.

The franchise has released dolls, sing-along videos, apparel, home decor, toys, and a variety of other products featuring some of the Disney Princesses. Licensees for the franchise include Glidden (wall paint), Stride Rite (sparkly shoes), Hasbro (games and dolls), and plastic Fisher-Price figurines.

A woman who lacks the ability to empathize or put herself in "another's  shoes ".  A woman who lacks the ability or chooses not to effectively define or react to another's mode of  thought  and  mood .  A woman who is so OVERLY concerned with her situation that she does not prioritize or account for another's needs.  A woman who lacks emapathy in situations where a another's needs are clearly greater than her wants.

What is Media and Information Literacy? Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in developing countries is a challenging field of media development today. It deals with the deep human need to communicate in a complex world that does not offer equal opportunities for everyone. MIL is about students in a school in Ramallah who, after discussing different news sources with their teacher, can more clearly differentiate between gossip and political news. It is about girls and boys in Kampala using their mobile phones as microphones, recording information on the growing pile of waste dumped in their neighborhood and airing it on a local radio station. And MIL is about young adults in Phnom Penh who spend their pocket money in cyber cafés.
